James Insurance Broker is an independent insurance brokerage and a member of the Insurance Brokers Association of Ontario, offering a variety of insurance products to suit your insurance needs. Operating in Bowmanville since 1893, James Insurance Broker is a long standing community business. Originally established by Harry Cann, the business was sold to J.J. Mason in 1916. The business stayed within the Mason family for eight decades, first being passed from J.J. Mason to his grandson, Stuart R. James, and then from Stuart to his son, Douglas James. In 1995 it was eventually sold to William Huether.
